Evolution
- I accept the Biblical Narratives
of origins. |
 |
Space
Aliens - I do not believe in
space aliens. The belief in other creatures in the Universe is
directly and logically derived from the theory of evolution. After
all, 1) if we evolved, and 2) there are probably millions of other planets
in the Universe, then 3) it follows that "Star Wars" and
"Star Trek" with their various intelligent space creatures is a
logical conclusion. The following is my own 'logic' for
rejecting Space Aliens:
 |
I
do not believe in Evolution. |
 |
I
do not believe that there are multiple 'gods' in different parts of the
Universe with their own systems of theology for themselves. |
 | Even
so, if the 'one' God did create other creatures in the Universe besides
Angels & Demons, then they are either "unfallen", not
having rebelled against God, or they are "fallen" like
us. Are there other possibilities?
 |
If
they are "unfallen", then 1) they don't want to be seen by
the masses of humanity on Earth, or 2) despite their sophisticated
space craft, they are incredibly stupid, and haven't figured out a
way to find the major population
centers of the world and reveal themselves to authority. |
 |
If
they are "fallen" and they 'sin', then there is a
different problem. Sin requires a payment for that
transgression which is the death of the 'sinner'. And, God
doesn't want Sin in a perfect Heaven (Rev 21:27).
If
there is to be salvation for those poor creatures also, then
God in His Grace, would provide Himself a sacrifice Gen
22:8 Hbr
9:26. Jesus is the 'only begotten Son of God', and
having died and resurrected, is "alive for evermore" Rev
1:18. So then, would God the Father or God the Holy Spirit
become that required sacrifice and die for their sins? |
