TULIP
Total
Depravity (also known as Total Inability and
Original Sin) {all people won't be drawn to Him}
Unconditional Election (God Elects certain for
Salvation) {and excludes some from Election}
Limited Atonement (also known as Particular
Atonement) {most in the world aren't included in Christ's
sacrifice for their sins}
Irresistible Grace (those who are
"called" cannot resist "the call") {and those who
haven't been called don't see or understand his Grace}
Perseverance of the Saints (also known as Once Saved
Always Saved) {God gives 'Eternal Life', which by definition is
"Eternal"}
These five
categories do not comprise Calvinism in totality. They simply represent some of
its main points.
