A person's religious beliefs directly affect Living the Christian
Life.
These pages are a separate section to discuss all-to-common, and sometimes
controversial 'practices' of Christians whose lives seem to be a contradiction
of Scriptural Teaching (doctrines). Many Christians, Pastors, and other
Christian workers will attempt to separate their "Doctrine" from
Christian Living. They attempt to 'excuse' unscriptural behavior out of
'Compassion' for the person "in the circumstances", or say they are
applying 'Grace', or they even attempt a different 'Interpretation' to allow
certain behaviors.
While it's true that a person "needs strength" and "godly
Christian support" to live according to their Christian confession, but
changing the interpretation or application of scripture to 'excuse' or 'allow'
unscriptural behavior is a different issue altogether.
These topics attempt to present the applicable scriptures that apply.
Helping others to live godly lives in accordance with God's Word is each of our
responsibilities when others are struggling with bad situations. But we do
them a disservice if we excuse "ungodly" and 'unbiblical' behavior.
