The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God

1Corinthians 15:1-4
I declare unto you the gospel      {the Good News!!}

           which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 

2 By which also ye are saved,

           if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
           3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that

Christ died for our sins                                          according to the scriptures;  4 And that
he was buried,                                                                                                            and that
he rose again the third day                                    according to the scriptures

Roman 3:23   For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23  For the payment of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ephesians 2: 8,9 For by Grace are you saved through faith.  And that not of yourselves.  It is the gift of God - not of works lest any man should boast.
